Sojourner Truth: Ain't I A Woman?
Historical biography about this pioneer of civil rights. A New York native who spoke Dutch, she took her freedom, walking off the plantation and into the pages of history. Courageous and articulate she championed equality for enslaved Africans and as well as voting rights for women.
