This easy reading set of eight books, each one depicting an African-American
girl, is sure to please. Ages 5-8 years.
Each book has been written and illustrated by an African-American writer
or artist and their pictures are included at the end of the book. In
addition,there are activities at the end of each book - games, questions and
discussion starters to further enhance the educational value of each book.
